SDSU takes advantage of UNLV miscues in rout

San Diego State won the Mountain West regular-season title outright Friday night in a nationally-televised rout of UNLV on the Aztecs' home field.

The Rebels weren't sharp defensively from the outset and SDSU took advantage.  UNLV committed five errors in the contest from five different players -- three in the infield and two outfielders -- and Lorena Bauer hit a 3-run home run to power the Aztecs to a 7-0 win.

The win secured a second straight outright Mountain West crown for San Diego State as the Aztecs moved a game and a half in front of idle Fresno State with just one day remaining in the regular season.

Elsewhere, Nevada came from behind to tie Boise State in the seventh inning and win it with a 5-run eighth.  And Colorado State beat New Mexico for the second day in a row, despite also being out-hit for the second consecutive day.
