Saturday's results: A lot of runs for MW teams
Fresno State 11, Appalachian State 3 (6 innings) - The Bulldogs run-ruled the defending Southern Conference champions in Tempe by jumping out to an early lead and coasting. Fresno State scored six runs in the first inning on six hits and never looked back. Stesha Brazil was one of five Bulldogs players with multiple-hit games. She finished with four RBI and now has a total of nine thru four games.

It marked the first time in five games this season that SJSU did not reach double-digits in the runs column. A 3-run top of the eighth (with the ITB in effect) gave SJSU a 6-3 lead before Cal Poly responded with two in the bottom of the frame.
San Jose State 10, Indiana 7 - It's a perfect 5-0 start on the season for the Spartans after a late rally was enough to overcome the Hoosiers. A pair of sixth inning home runs broke a 7-all tie for San Jose State.
