Bulldogs on the verge of Top 25, coming in at No. 29 this week

For the first time this season, a Mountain West team saw its name show up in both major Top 25 polls when they were released Tuesday morning.

Following a 4-1 weekend at the prestigious Mary Nutter Classic in Palm Springs, Fresno State received votes today in both the newly-released USA Today/NFCA coaches Top 25 and the ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25 polls.

The Bulldogs have seven votes to come in at No. 29 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll.  In the USA Today/NFCA poll, the Bulldogs have one vote to rank 36th.  Trisha Ford's Bulldogs are the first MW team to appear in the coaches poll this season.
