TUESDAY: BYU run-rules Utah State in Logan

In the only game of the day involving a Mountain West softball team, BYU overpowered in-state rival Utah State in Logan 13-2 in five innings.  The Cougars scored in every inning and pounded 13 hits, including 11 off Aggies starting pitcher Alleyah Armendariz, who saw her record drop to 1-10 this season.  BYU starter McKenna Bull (20-5) went the first four innings to grab the win.  Sarah Chow had half of the Aggies' four hits and both RBI.  Two of USU's four hits in the game came when the Aggies were down to their final out.
