Fresno State's Brenna Moss drafted by NPF's Bandits

The Chicago Bandits selected the Mountain West's top player in terms of hits and batting average this season when they picked Fresno State's Brenna Moss Wednesday at the 2015 National Pro Fastpitch draft.

Moss, the only Mountain West player selected, was taken in the third round as the 13th overall selection in the one-day draft.  She is the first Fresno State player drafted since 2005 when pitcher and 4-time All American Jamie Southern was selected.

The draft, televised live nationally on CBS Sports Network, featured Moss as the No. 2 overall selection among players outside the nation's five major conferences.  Only Western Kentucky pitcher Miranda Kramer, a selection of the Pennsylvania Rebellion, was a higher selection at No. 6.
